There are some great opening tracks in this world and Holy Ghost! definitely has one. “Do it Again” may not be the most original sounding song but it definitely grabs your attention and peaks your interest with the obvious Prince and electro pop influence. This is the debut album from Holy Ghost! and although there are some really great singles on this album it is lacking real flow and knowledge of good song placement. Holy Ghost! sounds jumbled and just mixed poorly. Minus the bad parts of Holy Ghost! it is actually a really fun listen, and you can hear some real gems on here like “Wait And See” and “Jam For Jerry” ( Dedicated to the late Jerry Fuchs, indie drummer from Maserati) but a few strong singles does not always equal the best album. I think Holy Ghost! in pieces is great and putting a few songs on a mix CD might be a better option than actually listening to the album as a whole.
